This study evening aims to teach the fundamentals dentine bonding, use of composite resins, fibre posts and e.max restorations in the restoration of broken down teeth.

The topics covered include:

The diagnosis of the broken down tooth – what is and is not restorable?
The ideal restorative material in any given situation, paying special attention to occlusion and loading on the tooth
Predictable isolation and dentine bonding for composite, endodontic post, e.max and zirconia
Preparation and impressioning techniques
Provisionalisation
Surface treatment
Bonding
Adjustment and finishing

6.00pm for 6:30pm – Arrival and snacks

6:30-8.00pm – Lecture

8.00-8:30pm – Questions and answers – open discussion

8:30pm till later – local dinner for those who would like to attend

2 hours of lecture and discussion in the form of a study evening qualifiying for 2 hours of CPD – certificates will be presented

Delegates need not bring anything to the evening apart from a hunger to learn and to meet old and new colleagues.

It was so good to be able to discuss details of techniques with colleagues that normally get glossed over in lectures. Step by step presentation was very helpful.

All delegates are encouraged to bring their nurses.
The course is restricted to 20 dental surgeons.
